How do I find DVDs in the library?

Start with the Library Catalog from the library home page, http://library.du.edu. To find DVDs by subject type keywords into the search box, for example: baseball

catalog search baseball

From the results screen you can limit for format type on the left side of the results page:

catalog search baseball narrow to dvds

Now you have 69 videos to choose from:

catalog search limited to 69 baseball dvds

If you know the name of a specific film, you can search for it by title:

You can also search by genres as keywords, such as:

Action and adventure films
Biographical films
Documentary television programs
Feature films
Historical films
Romance films
Science fiction films
Sports films
Thrillers (motion pictures)

You can limit to Academy Award nominees or winners by adding “Academy award” to your keyword search.

Note the call number for the film. The DVDs are located on the upper level of the main library, at the top of the main staircase, near the Loft.  The loan period is the same as other materials, such as books:
